Gehlot trip to U.S. cleared

Jaipur June 30. The Centre has permitted the Rajasthan Chief Minister, Ashok Gehlot, and three of his Cabinet colleagues to go to New York to attend an international conclave to attract the Non-Resident Indians to invest in the State, an official spokesman said today.

The Rajasthan Chief Minister's entourage is likely to leave for New York via London tomorrow.

The Centre's permission was received this morning.

The Rajasthani Association of North Americans (RANA) is co-sponsoring the July 4 conclave.

A delegation of State officials, including the Tourism Secretary and Director, had left for the United States last weekend.
