BJP win in M.P., Rajasthan predicted

New Delhi June 30. The BJP seems to be slightly ahead of the Congress in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan while the Congress is likely to retain power in Delhi, according to the C-Fore opinion poll.

The opinion poll with a large sample size of 5,500 voters across the three States predicts that Sheila Dikshit will become the Chief Minister of Delhi again. According to the poll, the Congress will get around 40 to 45 seats in the 70-member Assembly, the BJP 20 to 25 with smaller groups and independents getting between one to five seats. In Madhya Pradesh, it predicts the BJP will get 115 to 125 seats out of 230 and the Congress will secure between 90 and 100 seats. It predicted a tougher battle in Rajasthan with the BJP likely to get a thin majority securing 100 to 110 seats and the Congress a close second with 80 to 90 seats, an NDTV 24 x7 release said today.
