KOLKATA: Sahara Entertainment's controversial mega-serial, Karishma A miracle of destiny, was on Monday given the go-ahead for telecast after July 7 by the Calcutta High Court, which vacated its earlier stay order granted on the plea of copyright infringement by an American author. After a bitter legal battle between Sahara and the petitioner, Barbara Taylor Bradford, since the first week of May, the serial starring Bollywood actress Karishma Kapoor was allowed to be telecast. Only the first episode of the Rs. 60-crore mega serial was telecast on May 12 when the Supreme Court passed a stay order on it following a petition by Ms. Bradford's lawyers.
