MLA's bail plea rejected

TIRUPATI JUNE 26. The District Judge, Chittoor, Bhavani Prasad, today rejected the bail application of the Chittoor MLA, C.K. Babu, who has been arrested in connection with the recent murder of the engineering college student, Ravisankar Chowdary.

The bail application moved for the second time by the MLA's lawyer, Vasudevan, was taken up by the judge and the decision announced in the evening after hearing both sides.
