Meet on Electricity Bill today

BANGALORE JUNE 26. The Independent Power Producers' Association of India (IPPAI) will hold a workshop on "Implications of the new Electricity Bill — 2003'' at Hotel Capitol here tomorrow. Experts in the power sectorwill participate.The workshop will discuss the impact of the Bill on power purchase agreements, and the introduction of surcharge for new licences in the distribution sector for new companies, according to a press note issued by the IPPAI.
