KSRTC reduces fares

BANGALORE JUNE 26. The KSRTC has reduced the fares for the Airavatha (Volvo buses), Rajahamsa (ultra deluxe), deluxe, semi-deluxe, and air-conditioned services from the midnight of June 30. The fares for the services have been reduced up to 10 per cent. The fares for Volvo services from Bangalore are (old fares are in brackets): Bangalore-Hyderabad Rs. 450 (Rs. 500); Bangalore-Ernakulam Rs. 480 (Rs. 510); Bangalore-Mangalore Rs. 275 (Rs. 300); Bangalore-Kundapura Rs. 350 (Rs. 375); Bangalore-Tirupati (night service) Rs. 225 (Rs. 250); and Bangalore-Mumbai Rs. 800 (Rs. 900).
