By Our Special Correspondent

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM JUNE 26 . The Kerala Government has announced the complete withdrawal of load-shedding on holidays, including Sundays.

In a statement issued here today, the Electricity Minister, Kadavoor Sivadasan, however, added that this would be on an experimental basis.

An additional 2 million units of electricity would be required each holiday because of this decision. The monsoon, which brought good rainfall in the catchment areas of the hydel reservoirs for a couple of days this week, had now become weak.
