Addressing the Mahila Mahapanchayat (assembly of women) organised by the state Mahila Congress here, he said after Mr Munda's confession that there was no system working in Jharkhand, the Centre must not delay imposition of the Article 356 in the larger interest of the state. He further called upon State Legislature Party leader Furkan Ansari to strive for the fall of the NDA-led Government, which had failed to govern the state and systemise the functioning of the state machinary. Demanding fresh poll in the state after the dismissal of the Munda Government, he said it should be held under the President's rule to safegaurd the democratic rights of the electorate. The state Congress Chief further charging the present regime in Jharkhand with having failed on all fronts said extremism and corruption were at its hilt and no development was in sight. All India Women Congress President Nita Bhaguna calling upon the organisation activists to fight for their rights said, "our fight was only for attaining an equal social status. '' Lambasting the State Government, he said in the past three years it had failed to provide an effective system and not framed any policy for the development of the women and the Commssion for the women as being demanded by the women activists. AICC Secretary Mukul Wasnik while addressing the Mahapanchayat said there was nothing left to be said about the state of affairs in Jharkhand after the Chief Minister himself admitting failure on all fronts. - UNI
