Letters to the Editor
Sir, Your Editorial, "Diluting Mandal" ( June 24 ), reflects the myopic vision of our politicians in formulating national policy. Our politicians implemented only those recommendations of the Mandal Commission which served their vested interests. In India, poll politics and not prudent vision decides policies. If the recommendations of the Mandal Commission were implemented with sincerity, then perhaps we could have had an egalitarian society. Nisha Gangurde, Ujjain, M.P.
