By Our Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD June 19. The Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu, is said to have agreed to release the dearness allowance due from January 1, 2003, to Government employees in the next meeting of the Cabinet.

Mr. Naidu also assured to sort out the issue relating to appointment of the leftover dependents of the medically invalidated employees who had passed seventh and 10th classes in suitable posts.

These were promised by the Chief Minister when a Joint Action Committee of employees, teachers and workers led by its chairman, G. Purnachandra Rao, co-chairman, B. Mohan Reddy, and others called on him here on Thursday, according to a press release. Mr. Naidu said he would consult the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority regarding medical reimbursement to out-patients.

Issues like the pending Gopannapalli house sites and problems of the employees of various departments were brought to his notice.
