IAS officers reshuffled

HYDERABAD JUNE 19. In a major reshuffle of IAS officers, the State Government has transferred several of them, including Collectors of a few districts, on Thursday.

The Ranga Reddy Collector, Ajay Jain, has been transferred to Kurnool, replacing K. Sai Pratap, who has been posted as Chittoor Collector. The Chittoor Collector, P.V. Satyanarayana Murthy, has been posted as Director of Beverages Corporation.

B.R. Meena, Collector of Krishna district, has been posted to Ranga Reddy in place of Mr. Ajay Jain while Warangal Collector, K. Prabhakar Reddy, has been posted to Krishna district in place of Mr. Meena.

While the Medak Collector, G. Premchandra Reddy, has been transferred and posted as Director, Tribal Welfare, the Nizamabad Collector, Ashok Kumar, has been posted as Director, Sports. The Prakasam Collector, Karikalavelavan, has been posted as Director, Labour. Shiv Shankar will take over as the Collector of Warangal while Krishna Babu has been posted as Prakasam Collector.
