Christian meet disrupted

Agra June 8. The Hindu Jagran Manch and BJP youth wing activists disrupted a Christian religious meeting here alleging that it was aimed at promoting conversions, officials said today.

The youth BJP chief, R.P.S. Chauhan, and HJM local president, Gopal Singh Chauhan, were among the six persons arrested after the activists, waving saffron flags, forced their way to the dais.

They shouted slogans, threw away stage property and clashed with police at St. John's College here on Saturday night.

The meeting under the theme ``Success in life'' was organised by a Chennai-based Christian religious group.
