Militants throw grenade at hotel

SRINAGAR JUNE 8. Militants tossed a grenade at a hotel near Dal Lake today, but no loss of life was reported, official sources said.

The grenade hit the outer wall of the hotel on the boulevard and exploded causing panic among the inmates, mostly surrendered militants and some political activists, the sources said.

Windowpanes of the multi-storey hotel cracked because of the explosion, they said. No militant outfit has claimed responsibility for the attack.
