Letters to the Editor
Sir, This is with reference to the letter Spare the prilgrim (June 6). The writer has pleaded for banning political parties' conclaves in pilgrim towns. Despite the request of the Tirumala temple authorities not to come there during the time of the Telugu Desam Party's conference, pilgrims chose to ignore it. Had they not visited the temple on those days, the inconvenience could have been avoided. But the demand for banning such conferences in pilgrim towns is right. G. Purushothaman, Tirunelveli, T.N.
