Parking arrangements at fish medicine venue

By Our Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD June 7. The Hyderabad police have imposed traffic restrictions in connection with the distribution of fish medicine on Sunday and Monday.

Patients coming in four-wheelers from Public Gardens side would park their vehicles at Government Junior College for Girls, Nampally, and walk up to Ajanta Gate, a press release said. If the parking space is filled at the college, the vehicles would be diverted to Public Gardens for parking.

Patients coming in buses and vans would alight at Bamboo Adda, Malakunta road and walk up to the Exhibition Grounds. Vehicles would be parked at Goshamahal grounds.

All VIPs with car passes would proceed from Taj Island and Gandhi Bhavan towards the Central Ware House Corporation and enter into Gandhi Centenary Hall, Exhibition Grounds. Their vehicles would be parked on the corporation's premises. VIP pass holders travelling by two-wheelers would park their vehicles at Government High School near Gate No. 1.

After taking medicine, VIPs travelling by cars and two-wheelers would come out from the Exhibition Club gate, take left turn and join Darusalam road and proceed towards Ek Minar mosque.

People coming on two-wheelers would park their vehicles at open space on Chandra Vihar premises, Gruhakalpa, Kattalmandi lane and New Mysoora Cafe lane. If these spaces were filled, the vehicles would be diverted to Nampally College for Girls.

All Government and military vehicles not having car passes would be parked in Gagan Vihar building. All police duty vehicles (four-wheelers) would be parked at the DEO Office Building and two-wheelers opposite Andhra Bank.

Vehicular traffic coming from M.J. Market side and intending to go towards Nampally side would be diverted at M.J. Market towards Abids, Nampally Station Road leading to A1 Cafe and Nampally.

However, water-tankers of the HMWS&SB, vehicles of Fisheries Department bringing fishes to exhibition grounds and those of voluntary organisations carrying food materials with valid passes would be exempted from this diversion. General traffic coming from M.J. Bridge and going to Nampally would be diverted at Alaska towards Darusalam.
