Semi-structures on Marina removed

CHENNAI JUNE 7. The Corporation officials today removed four semi-structures on the Marina this morning. They were makeshift temples that had been constructed behind the Seerani Arangam and near the Light House. Civic workers brought down the four concrete structures, in the presence of the Revenue officials and policemen. Officials said that the drive was part of a State Government order to remove such structures on the beach side.
