No deviation of quota rule, says health varsity

HYDERABAD May 25. NTR University of Health Sciences has rejected the charge that rule of reservation in PG medical courses is not being implemented even as it announced postponement of the selection schedule as candidates did not turn up for the morning session counselling on Saturday. In a press release, the university said the date for counselling for the seats which were not filled would be notified shortly `as admissions have to be completed as early as possible.'

The university rejected the charge that the rule of reservation in PG medical courses was not being implemented and sought to clarify that the selections were strictly in accordance with the rules issued by the Government.

"The university has not deviated from the rules,'' the release said.
