Suresh Rajan wins

NAGERCOIL MAY 25. The former Tourism Minister, N. Suresh Rajan, emerged victorious in the district secretary elections in the DMK. He defeated his rival, Pon. Jeevaraj, by a margin of nine votes.

While Mr. Rajan secured 122 votes, Mr. Jeevaraj, former district secretary, got 113 votes.
