India, which had scored easy wins in the earlier two games, met with some resistance from the host before prevailing. Replying to Nepal's 143 for eight in 27 overs, India reached the target in 26.3 overs with four wickets in hand. Put in, Nepal was helped by K. Chaugai, who top-scored with 46, and S. Pant (22). The others failed to make any impact. Patel grabbed four wickets while Abhishek Sharma picked two for the visitor. India was in trouble at 64 for three but Gnaneswara Rao (38) and Biswas steered the team to safety after A.T. Rayudu (38) had given the team a steady start along with Bisla (16). The scores: Nepal 143 for eight in 27 overs (K. Chaugai 46, Patel four for 25) lost to India under-19 144 for six in 26.3 overs (A.T. Rayudu 38, Gnaneswara Rao 38). PTI
