All-round display by Hrishikesh

BANGALORE April 24. Hrishikesh Patkar's fine all-round show (63 and four for seven) helped Sharda Ashram Vidya Mandir, Mumbai defeat Presidency School, Bangalore by 87 runs in a Parle Champions Trophy inter-city tournament match at the Chinnaswamy Stadium here on Thursday.

Sharda Ashram Vidya Mandir scored 184 for eight in 50 overs and skittled out Presidency School for 97 in 37.1 overs.

In another match at the KT Palace Ground, St. Bede's AIHS, Chennai scored a 31-run victory over Ramakrishna Junior College, Hyderabad.

R. Ashwin's 74 and Adithya's 56 powered St. Bede's to 268 for eight in 50 overs and in reply, Ramakrishna Junior College mustered 237 for eight with Ravi Teja (53) and Sudeep Raj's (52) efforts going in vain.

Sharda Ashram Vidya Mandir, Mumbai 184 for eight in 50 overs (Hrishikesh Patkar 63, Kabir Hazare 36 n.o., Pratik Kanin 33, Arjun Shetty five for 27) bt Presidency School, Bangalore 97 in 37.1 overs (Vikas Palan 40 n.o., Hrishikesh Patkar four for seven).

St. Bede's AIHS, Chennai 268 for eight in 50 overs (R. Ashwin 74, Adithya 56, Abhin Mukund 42) bt Ramakrishna Junior College, Hyderabad 237 for eight in 50 overs (Ravi Teja 53, Sudeep Raj 52, Gaurav 43 n.o., Santosh three for 62).
