THIRUVANANTHAPURAM April 24. The LBS Centre for Science and Technology has invited applications for admission to the one-year diploma course in Computer Applications, scheduled to begin in June.

Besides at the main centre in Thiruvananthapuram, the course is to be offered at Kollam, Pambady, Mallappally, Adoor and Nilamel. The last date for submitting applications is May 7. Details are on the Web site `www.lbskerala.com'.

Re-exam

For the benefit of those who could not appear for the practical examination in Statistics (Old Scheme) at the higher secondary examination held in March 2003, a re-examination is to be conducted at Kollam, Ernakulam and Kozhikode on April 29. The candidates will be required to produce a certificate to the effect that they had not appeared for the examination in March, issued by the principal of the centre they had chosen.
