Naidu to open BJP office on Sunday

PATHANAMTHITTA April 24. The BJP national president, Venkaiah Naidu will inaugurate the district office of the party, Mararji Bhavan, at Kannankara, near here, on Sunday.

Addressing a press conference here today, the BJP district president, V.N. Unni, said that the Union Minister of State for Defence, O. Rajagopal, would unveil a photo of the late K.G. Marar on the occasion. The party State president, C.K. Padamanabhan, the RSS State president, P.E.B. Menon, the BJP national council member, K. Raman Pillai, the State general secretary, P. Mukundan, the State vice-president, P.S. Sreedharan

Pillai, the secretary, Ettumanur Radhakrishnan, and others will address the inaugural function.

The BJP office was set afire by certain miscreants on December 7, 2001 and it has been reconstructed at the same place through public contributions, Mr. Unni said.
