MS launches Windows Server 2003

NEW DELHI APRIL 24 . Microsoft Corporation India today announced the availability of Windows Server 2003 in India to enable the users to run their IT infrastructure efficiently.

This version of Microsoft's flagship is targeted at three communities — IT professionals, developers and Information workers — offering new technology innovations and improved performance of existing technologies, a company release said here.

Several partners including HP, Wipro, IBM, Intel, NIIT, SAP, Veritas and Legato Systems have announced products and initiatives that support Windows Server 2003 and 40 Indian ISVs (independent software vendors) have also solutions on the new platform, it said.
