Logix ties up with Yahoo!

BANGALORE April 24. Logix Microsystems Ltd. on Wednesday announced its strategic agreement with the portal, Yahoo!, for its automobile shopping division, Yahoo! Autos, which is now powered by Logix's flagship product, izmocars.

Logix is the first Indian company to launch a mass market multimedia company which was completely developed in India, Logix's Managing Director, Sanjay Soni, told presspersons here.

In the newly enhanced vehicle detail pages, Yahoo! Autos has implemented new functionality to provide consumers with access to 360-degree virtual tours of interior and exterior views of more than 500 vehicles. izmocars is a subsidiary of the India-based Logix Microsystems, and has developed a suite of products and services to help automotive websites provide innovative ways to help their consumers interact with vehicles online. izmocars is located in San Francisco, and has over 200 customers in the U.S., including top Internet auto dealers, Mr. Soni said.

The latest product, izmoflix, is an animated virtual brochure designed to improve sales and increase leads from third-party and dealer websites. The animations are based on actual photographs.
