NEW DELHI: Dusky beauty Nandita Das has turned ad-director, beginning with a 90-second spot on rainwater harvesting. "I have floated a company, Leapfrog, which will make ads on social issues," she said at the preview of the advertisement here. The directorial debut of the actress, who shot to fame with her performances in Earth and Fire, revolves around the concept of catching every drop of rain to mitigate the water crisis. Nandita, who directed the spot with her husband Soumya Sen (in picture), said, "The ad is symbolic, showing that rainwater harvesting can be done by each of us." UNI
