Kahlon snatches lead

CHANDIGARH APRIL 18. Hero Honda Masters champion Harmeet Kahlon snatched a two-stroke lead as overnight leader, Amritinder Singh, faltered on the second day of the Rs. 10 lakh Hero Golf Chandigarh Open here on Friday.

Kahlon fired a round of five-under 67 to follow up his first round of 69 for a two-round aggregate of eight-under 136.

Kahlon was two strokes better of Amandeep Johl (138), while the trio of Vijay Kumar, Ajay Gupta and Bhoop Singh were in joint third position. The cut was applied at 151 with 50 pros making it to the weekend rounds.

In the amateur section, Girish Virk and Jaskirat Singh Dullet led the field with an aggregate of 148.
