Racing : Motor
The 35-year-old Kremer, who has been rallying since 1990, is the more experienced of the two. He has won the German Rally Championship thrice and his best performance till date is the 2001 European Championship title in a Toyota Corolla WRC car. He has been a regular in the World Rally championship (WRC) series. Fellow German, Fred Berssen, 42, will be his co-driver. Doppelreiter, 24, is a driver with potential, who moved from rallying to circuit racing before returning to rallying in 2000. He is the youngest to win the Austrian Diesel Rally Championship. He made his WRC debut in a Peugeot 206 XS last year. Norway's Ola Floene, 34, his co-driver in two WRC events, will partner him. Team MRF's manager Tony Rodricks said, "We chose Kremer for his experience and excellent credentials and Doppelreiter for his youth and potential. I'm confident both will do well."
