By A. Subramani
Disclosing this after inaugurating a facilitation counter at the Madras High Court, Justice Santosh Hegde of the apex court said filing of cases in these e-courts could be done from any part of the country. They would also be heard and decided through video conferencing with neither the litigant nor his counsel requiring to visit New Delhi. The system is in vogue in Singapore, he said, adding that a team of Supreme Court registry officials had already filed a feasibility report in this matter. He hoped that it would come through soon.
