Doctrine of aggression

Sir, — This is with reference to your Editorial `Doctrine of aggression' ( April 16 ). Washington's threat to Syria shows its greed for oil power.

Since the United States has already sidelined the role and purpose of the United Nations, it thinks it would be much easier now to colonise nations at will.

The countries of the world must put an end to this or we would be going back by centuries where once again, land and wealth would be the priority needs than humanity.

A reversal to the Barbaric Age should be stopped immediately.

S. Lakshmi Priya,

Tiruchi, T.N.
