By Our Staff Reporter

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM APRIL.11. The Tourism Minister, K. V. Thomas, has said he will abide by the decision taken by the Congress high command in the forthcoming elections to the Rajya Sabha from the State.

Speaking to reporters after attending a function organised by the Kerala Tourism at the Government Guest House here today, Prof. Thomas said that all disputes would be settled with the arrival of the AICC observers, R. K. Dhawan and Ghulam Nabi Azad.

Stating that the Congress candidates for the Rajya Sabha polls were Thennala Balakrishna Pillai and the AICC general secretary, Vayalar Ravi, the Minister said, "the dispute will be settled without causing any embarrassment to the Congress. I approve the decision of the high command. The Congress candidates will win the two seats to the Rajya Sabha from the State, he added.

Asked whether he was still with the `I' group, Prof. Thomas said groups would be there only if there was Congress.

The senior congress leader, K. Karunakaran, is the leader of the `I' group and it was for him to tell who all were in the group.

The Speaker, Vakkom Purushothaman, who also attended the function, told reporters that he too would vote in the Rajya Sabha elections. "My vote will not go waste."
