Fodder 'specials'

HYDERABAD APRIL 11. As many as 258 trains are required during April, May and June for transporting fodder to seven districts where there is shortage.

This was stated at a high-level meeting presided over by the Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu, today to review arrangements for transporting fodder from East and West Godavari, Krishna and Karimnagar districts to Chittoor, Anantapur, Cuddapah, Nalgonda, Prakasam, Visakhapatnam and Khammam.

The railway authorities have identified four stations — Kakinada Port, Dwarapudi, Samarlakota and Bikkavolu — in East Godavari besides Aakiveedu, Bhimavaram, Eluru and Tadepallegudem in West Godavari and Vijayawada and Gudivada in Krishna district for transporting fodder.
