Cathay Pacific to cut services

By Our Special Correspondent

NEW DELHI APRIL 11. Cathay Pacific Airways today announced that it would temporarily cut scheduled passenger services by more than one-third in a bid to contain the financial impact caused by the mysterious pneumonia and the war in Iraq.

This is the third round of cuts that the Hong Kong airline has been forced to make since March 31 in response to a steep fall in passenger traffic across the airline's network.

In all, 19 destinations have been affected and 184 weekly services cut.
