Letters to the Editor
Sir, Kuldip Nayar, in his opinion `Posture cannot be policy ' ( April 7 ) is right in saying that the Government's policy of `no talks' with Pakistan is on the wrong footing when it comes to social ties. Though this policy has yielded positive results, its review is overdue. Social links, especially those of human rights activists and mediapersons, can expose the true colours of the leaders across the border to the common people there. Thereby, we can force the policy-makers there to mend their ways and at the same time present the ongoing struggle in Kashmir in its true light. Arun Kant Gupta, Delhi
