Products of Chittara artists released

By Our Staff Reporter

BANGALORE April 6. The products prepared using Chittara Art (a typical way of painting practised by the Deeva community) were released here today by the Minister for Health and Family Welfare, and Information, Kagodu Thimmappa.

The programme was organised by Chittaradangala, The Adventurers, and Innovators for the Public. Mr. Thimmappa said the community, which had mastered the unique art, should use it and earn money. The Government was prepared to help the members of the community, he said.

The Director of the Publication Wing of Kannada University, H.C.Boralingaiah, who distributed the certificates to those who had undergone training in Chittara Art, observed that experience was more important than education, but experience should be valued.
