Letters to the Editor
Sir, __ I am very much pleased to hear that a petition has been filed in the Kerala High Court to declare hartals unconstitutional. Playing with the life of the public by the political parties for their own benefits has to be stopped by a stay till the final verdict is delivered. The Election Commission should ban the political parties responsible for hartals. Leaders calling for hartals should be treated as anti-nationals and put behind bars. V.M. Gopalakrishnan Nair, Pattambi, Kerala
