Justice P.K. Misra, before whom a petition challenging the transfer came up for hearing, said:``The students shall be permitted to appear for examinations in the colleges to which they have been transferred''. Meanwhile, 45 MCA students of the Deen Dayal have approached the court seeking transfer to recognised institutions. Stating that the process of shifting them was affected by an order of status quo delivered on March 17, the students alleged that like their B.E. and B.Tech counterparts they too were `harassed' by the college authorities. ``In view of the interim order granted on a writ petition (filed by the administration) the MCA students are not in a position to join other colleges.'' They students also wanted to be impleaded in the pending case. Mr. Justice Misra, said he would consider impleading the students parties on March 24.
