World Cup
Sourav Ganguly didn't see the lightning around Kingsmead on Thursday as his Indian line-up pushed toward victory over Kenya in the semifinal. ``Sachin Tendulkar came to me after the 15th over, and told me he had seen the lightning on the big screen,'' he said. ``When you're captain, you have so many things on your mind, that I was probably not looking in the right direction when (the lightning) happened.'' The rain held off throughout the day after forecasts had cast a pall of uncertainty over the match, and the Indian players were obviously relieved once the 25-over mark was passed. Once that happened, and Kenya's sixth wicket fell in the 27th over, Ganguly was relaxed enough to take his foot off the pedal. ``I wanted to give everybody a bowl before going into the final, so maybe we gave away a few more runs than we should have,'' he said.
