Militants set houses ablaze

JAMMU MARCH 15. Militants today set on fire abandoned houses in a remote village in Thanna Mandi tehsil of Rajouri district of Jammu region. The SSP, Rajouri, Prithvi Raj Manhas, said that 16 houses were set on fire in the early hours. Luckily, there was no casualty. The families had migrated from the areas in November last when militants killed two persons. In the recent past, messages of the militants to step up operations in the border belt had been intercepted. The security forces were on maximum alert.
