According to a pressnote, the concession will be available in basic mail/express fares of all classes. In the case of Rajdhani/Shatabdi/ Janshatabdi group of trains, concession will be admissible in their all-inclusive fares.

The concession shall be admissible in single/return journey tickets and not in season tickets/circular journey tickets/special train/coaches.
