Narayana Murthy to lead CII team to Germany

NEW DELHI FEB. 19 . A Confederation of Indian Industry CEO's IT delegation led by N. R. Narayana Murthy, Chairman and Chief Mentor, Infosys Technologies, will be visiting Germany between February 20 and 22. The delegation will meet ministers and CEOs of business houses of Germany at Munich, Frankfurt and Stuttgart.

The objective of the three day visit is to help Indian IT industry increase business in Germany. The delegation will have focussed meetings with CEOs of German telecom, banking and financial, manufacturing, education and training. The delegation will also call on Erwin Huber, State Minister, Government of Bavaria, and Roland Koch, Minister-president, Hessen, during the visit.

The other members of the delegation are Ramalinga Raju, Chairman, Satyam Computer Services, Ganesh Natarajan, Deputy Chairman and Managing Director, Zensar Technologies, Arun Jain, Chairman and CEO, Polaris Software Lab, and Harish Krishnan, Director, CII and Mission Manager. The Indian Embassy at Germany is a co-organiser with CII and T. C. A. Rangachari, Ambassador of India, Germany, will be accompanying the mission.
