It opened on a firm note at 47.6925/7025. The rupee spurted by over 18 paise in the last three sessions, driven-up by robust trade inflows and receding of war fears. Despite a fresh rise in global crude oil prices due to geo-political uncertainties, the rupee continued to post gains on persistent heavy flow of dollars from exporters and non-resident Indian remittances, a dealer said.
