World Cup
Sunning on Durban beach
New Zealand cricketers will sit around for the next nine days, and do nothing except for sunning themselves on a Durban beach.
This is after the World Cup technical committee refused the Kiwis' permission to organize a warm-up match to make up for its decision not to travel to Nairobi for the Feb. 21 match against Kenya.
New Zealand was not the only team to be refused a warm-up match after England's request was turned down too after its refusal to play in Zimbabwe last week.
The technical committee was unlikely to reschedule the Nairobi match with World Cup chief executive Ali Bacher saying that the match would definitely not be rescheduled.
