The officials were released by the tribals today following discussions with the district authorities. Cases would be registered against them for taking the officials hostage under the IPC and occupation of the wild life sanctuary under the Wild Life Act, official sources said. The police are making arrangements for the eviction of the tribals. Arrangements would be made against their re-entry into the sanctuary. The Chief Minister, A.K. Antony, and others were closeted with officials last night and this morning for handling the crisis.
