36 fishermen released

Ramanathapuram Jan. 3. Thirty-six fishermen, taken into custody by their Sri Lankan counterparts, arrived at Rameswaram on Friday.

According to police sources, they were taken into custody on the charge of crossing the Indo-Sri Lankan International Boundary Line on December 28.

They were kept in a church at Pallikuda in northern Jaffna.
