Haass to visit India next week

Washington Jan. 3. A top United States official is visiting India next week for consultations on a broad range of issues including the Indo-Pak. situation and Iraq. The U.S. State Department's Director of Policy Planning, Richard Haass, will be travelling to New Delhi, Hyderabad, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Rabat during the week beginning January 6, the State Department spokesman, Richard Boucher, said here.
