Reliance Infocomm to appoint agents

MUMBAI JAN. 3. Reliance Infocomm has initiated the process of appointing `Point of Sales Agents' (PSAs) and `Dhirubhai Ambani Entrepreneurs' (DBEs) all over the country, an official release said here today.

They in turn will be accepting bookings on behalf of Reliance Infocomm for Reliance IndiaMobile, limited mobility services, using CDMA (code division multiple access) technology at 40 paise per minute, at a 15-second pulse rate.

The company claims to have received an overwhelming response to its recently launched limited mobility services. However, it said that it has come to the notice of the company that some people have started collecting payments against promised delivery of `Reliance IndiaMobile.'

In view of this, the company informs all its subscribers and customers not to make any payments in cash or cheque to anyone except authorised representatives.
