Speaking at Alexandra Palace in London at the opening ceremony of a new Middlesex Indoor Cricket School set up at a cost of 6000 pounds sterling, Sir Pelham Warner referred to the forthcoming summer visit of the Australian cricket team, and said, "I believe that, with ordinary luck, we shall recover the Ashes from Australia."
