One-way rule on Magarath Road goes

BANGALORE Dec. 30 . The Commissioner of Police, M.D.Singh, has restored two-way traffic on Magarath Road between its junction with Commisariat Road and Brigade Road with immediate effect. The road was made a one-way on March 18 this year. However, no parking will be allowed on Magarath Road.

As per the new order, all vehicles proceeding from the Commissariat Road end of Magarath Road should take a left turn towards old Ashok Nagar Police Station. Vehicles will not be allowed to go directly to Residency Road from the Magarath Road-Brigade Road junction.

The latest order comes in the light of complaints from shop- keepers and residents on either side of Magarath Road about increased chaotic traffic since the introduction of the one-way system.
