By Our Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD Dec. 27. The Jaya Hospitals, Warangal, has clarified that there was no negligence on part of the doctors while treating a patient, Venu, who was admitted with fractures at the hospital on December 21.

In a clarification to an item published in these columns on Friday, T. Kalpana Devi, former M.P. said that the patient was brought to the hospital in a bad condition and he was attended by Dr. V. Suresh Kumar, an Orhtopaedic surgeon. The surgeon advised the attendants of the patient to take him to a higher centre for treatment.

``Our hospital doctors took utmost care and started treatment to avoid shock to the patient. Various tests were also done apart from giving the required drugs'', she said. The friends of patients were also frequently reminded to take him to a higher centre but there was no proper response, she said.
