No change in Kashmir policy: Pak.

By B. Muralidhar Reddy

ISLAMABAD Dec. 27. Pakistan's Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Northern Areas, States and Frontier Regions and Water and Power, Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao, has said that there was no change in the Kashmir policy by the Jamali Government as it is "not a Government, but state policy''.

Mr. Sherpao told correspondents here that the Jamali regime was "facilitating" the Pak Occupied Kashmir (PoK) "as it was the bastion of Kashmiri freedom struggle''.

The distinction made by the Minister on Government vs state policy seem to imply that governments might come and go but the Kashmir policy would remain unchanged.
